Crae has been involved in the acquisition and finance of commercial real estate for more than 20 years. Before joining A10, he served as the director of capital markets for StoneBridge Investments, B.V., a Netherlands-based firm focused on value-add multifamily investing in the United States. Prior to StoneBridge, Crae served as director of capital markets for Urban Investment Partners, a Washington, D.C.-based owner and operator of multifamily rental and condominium properties.

Crae worked as senior director of investments at Wrightwood Capital, where he established and managed the Washington, D.C. regional office. During his tenure at Wrightwood he was responsible for sourcing and structuring construction, bridge, and mezzanine loans. He began his career at Bank of America, and later purchased and originated commercial mortgage loans for Allied Capital and GE Capital. Crae holds a bachelor of arts degree in economics from Denison University and a master of science degree in real estate from Johns Hopkins University.
