Steve has more than 25 years of commercial real estate experience primarily in finance. He also has experience in investment sales and asset management, and has participated as a principal and advisor in the acquisition, ownership, development, and renovation of real estate assets. His extensive experience in mortgage banking enables him to structure the entire capital stack of real estate property and development. This includes ground up construction, acquisition, value-added bridge, land held for development, refinance, mezzanine, and equity financing. He has funded transactions with life insurance companies, CMBS, regional and local banks, agency programs, and real estate funds.

Prior to joining A10 Capital, Steve was senior vice president for JRE Capital in Scottsdale, Arizona where he was responsible for client development, sourcing loan opportunities, and heading up the private money division. Prior to his time at JRE Capital, he was director of capital markets for Sure Storage USA, a fully integrated national investment company. Earlier in his career, Steve has led the mortgage banking offices for Merchants Funding, TRI Capital, GMAC Commercial, Trinan Capital, and Pacific Southwest Realty Services.
Steve holds a BA in economics and an MBA from Arizona State University. He has served on committees in several organizations including NAIOP, ICSC, ULI, Valley Partnership, and ACMLA.
