Jamie Berenger
Chief Operating Officer and President-Credit & Asset Management
Jamie Berenger holds the positions of Chief Operating Officer and President of Credit and Asset Management. In these dual roles, he oversees underwriting, asset management, and portfolio management, as well as the company's day-to-day administration and operations.
With two decades of experience, Mr. Berenger brings extensive expertise in property valuation, underwriting, servicing, asset management, property acquisition, financial analysis, market research, due diligence, workouts, portfolio valuation, bank acquisition due diligence, securitizations, and portfolio management. He has been involved in over $8 billion of funded loans throughout his career.
Prior to joining A10 Capital in 2008, Mr. Berenger worked in the finance department of a national commercial real estate ownership group. While there, he focused on obtaining acquisition financing on properties and managed lender relationships on a $2.8 billion portfolio. His experience in both origination and underwriting provides Mr. Berenger with a unique view on the analysis of commercial real estate properties.
Mr. Berenger holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Boise State University, where he was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the international business honor society. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics from the University of Idaho
Mr. Berenger lives in Meridian, Idaho, with his wife and two children. In his free time, he supports youth sports, travels, and spends time outdoors.
