Job Summary
The Asset Manager position within the Special Servicing department will work closely with the Special Servicing Manager and other team members in the day-to-day management and resolution of specialty serviced assets.
Responsibilities
Analyze property operations and review of property level financials (e.g. Rent Rolls, Operating Statement, budgets and bank statements)
Perform comprehensive analysis and of loan collateral dynamics and value determination
Conduct market analysis and research on assigned loans
Engage the services of and interact with third-party consultants including attorneys, brokers, receivers, management/leasing companies, and appraisers
Prepare quarterly Asset Status Reports and cash flow projections
Requisites
3+ years of commercial real estate experience, preferably in asset management, servicing, or lending
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting or related field is required. Advanced degrees and/or qualifications (e.g. MBA, MAI, CCIM, CFA) are a strong plus
Competency in property types including office, industrial, retail, multifamily, self-storage and student housing
Must possess excellent communication skills (written & verbal) with the ability to present ideas in a clear and concise manner
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams and PowerPoint
Strong analytical, research and reporting skills
Ability to work independently within a team-oriented environment
Disciplined and highly motivated self-starter
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining an extremely high attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
Highly motivated individual with a strong, disciplined work ethic
