Senior Director, Capital Markets & Originations
Joe Gomez is a Senior Director on the Capital Market and Originations teams at A10 Capital. His responsibilities include leading the firm's pricing infrastructure, facilitating financing initiatives with external counterparties, product management for the fixed rate program, and leading strategic initiatives.
Prior to joining A10 Capital in 2023, Joe co-founded a commercial real estate loan brokerage company, closed over $300 million in self-sourced opportunities.Mr. Gomez also gained valuable origination experience at a California Regional Bank, and Capital One, a top 5 Freddie Mac/Fannie Mae lender, where he was an integral member of a top producing team closing over $1B in annual production.
Prior to gaining extensive originations experience, Mr. Gomez was the Vice President of Capital Markets of Ready Capital’s (NYSE: RC) commercial real estate lending platform. During his tenure, Mr. Gomez was instrumental in establishing three securitization shelves, created the firm’s dynamic pricing model across its lending platforms, created the firm’s underwriting and database infrastructure, and closed multiple loan pool acquisitions and securitizations for Ready Capital’s external manager, Waterfall Asset Management.
Joe holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California San Diego.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, surfing, and cycling.
